This essay exam why professional knowledge and ability are very important in career success, the career that I am working toward is a career in the educational field. I have always had a passion for teaching. This was something I do not take lightly because this career takes courage, drive and resourcefulness to leave behind the familiar setting and set my course towards new employment. I made this decision when our family business fell apart because of the economy the business was automotive related. I had to make a life changing discussion. I decide to go back to school and get my degree.

I know the enjoyment I will feel when I finish school to have a career in teaching I love being around children I have the enthusiasm and energy to teach. I know at times it will be exhausting but the rewards of helping them develop important social skills and physical coordination is well as laying out a good foundation for their academic pursuits can be enormous.

There are many organizations that are really helpful with personal growth and abilities as I continue my education I am discovering them. I just want to be the best teacher that I can the organization the I am going to discuss in the essay is the Association of American Educators; they are one of the largest national, non union professional teachers association in the United States.

Their mission is to advance the profession through personal growth, professional development. This association is a teacher’s advocacy this organization also seeks to promote excellence in education.

They believe that all educators strive to create a nurturing environment so all children can reach their full potential. They strongly believe that parents are the primary source for moral support when it comes to their children’s education.
