RIVER VIEW PLAZA PROPOSAL MEMORANDUM

TO: Mark Jackson, Marketing Manager

FROM: Brandi Tittle, Student Marketing Assistant

DATE:July 13, 2009

SUBJECT: River View Plaza Proposal

River View Plaza is in need of an onsite restaurant to increase operations efficiency as well as keep current employees happy. This proposal will be presented on May 24, 2009. This proposal should be pretty easy to construct with the help of fellow employees. The proposal will probably take 3-4 weeks to prepare from start to finish.

Seeing that there is only one break room on the first floor indicates the need for a place to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a coffee break. Employees will be able to dine without having to bring food from home or leave the premises for breaks. The restaurant will also create new jobs. The new jobs will help some of those struggling in the tough economy.

There could be many possibilities when it comes to unwanted reactions in regards to a new proposal. However, everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. Some might not like the idea of a restaurant on the premises for a multitude of reasons. Those reasons might include but are not limited to, possible rodent problems, security, and cost effectiveness.

Regardless of what services are offered within a corporate setting, all employees are not going to be pleased with the outcome. Keeping that in mind, it is essential to do as much as possible to increase employee confidence and leave positive feelings that would result in positive feedback regarding the proposal.
