AD/HD is a commonly diagnosed behavioral disorder of childhood. This AD/HD disorder affects between 3 out of 7 of every 100 of school-aged children, and in many cases the problem continues through adolescence and adulthood. Symptoms of AD/HD are developmental levels of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Parents, physician, and teachers may be the first to see the symptoms as these symptoms causes difficulties in school, at home, work and even social life. There are three subtypes of AD/HD; predominantly inattentive type, predominantly hyperactive-impulsive type, and a combined type (inattention, hyperactivity- impulsivity).
