How does New Balance integrate a successful corporate social responsibility strategy that fits what they do and is something that isn’t too costly for them? This is a question that is tackled in the New Balance case study that was done. The following case study will analyze areas of strength and weakness for New Balance as they look to the Boston College Center to conduct a thorough assessment of their current company and where their current corporate responsibility is at right now and where it needs to be going forward to have more of an impact in the community and environment. If New Balance were to successfully utilize a new CSR strategy it would take them to new levels as far as increasing support from the consumers and also building more trust among the shareholders. New Balance knew that there would be some challenges as they look to rejuvenate their CSR program from a company-wide perspective, meaning everyone in the company would need to buy in. There are some really good things already in place for New Balance including domestic manufacturing and owners that are invested in their employees which is a good starting point towards building a strong corporate responsibility foundation. New Balance was also comfortable with the Boston College Center conducting study because of their reputation so it was a good fit for both sides.

These shoes include running, hiking, casual, athletic, as well as boots.
