MILLENIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS ( 2000-2015)

Arguments Against.

1. Extremely costly to increase the economic and develop growth based in a sustainable economy.

2. Eradicate the poverty in base of humanitarian help is linked with potential corruption, which people can deviate the correct investment in other purpose.

3. Increase the good education to be more competitive will be the best way to obtain a sustainable economy, but countries need to obtain the technological catch-up in order to be a real competition in a globalizate world.

4. Increase the education is difficult to approach in countries such as India and Saudi Arabia. This is especially for women because the culture in these societies has to change in order to obtain the good outcomes that will be derivate from the education.

5. Loss of economic competitiveness principally in north America if business are not sustainable

6. Pandemic diseases are a problem, principally HIV because people have different cultures and a great number of people does not have the enough education to prevent this illness.

7. Global Partnership (MDG #8): has no quantitative target, no guidelines against which to measure whether progress is adequate and no sanctions for governments who fail to comply with these responsibilities.

Arguments in Favour.

1. Eradicate extreme poverty is caused by a better money distribution which cause more opportunities to unemployment people. This is because a steady stable inside of the local economy will be approached and it will impact positively inside of a global economy based in the competitiveness of each country.

2. Eradicate the hunger is important because the productivity of people will increase. Furthermore, this factor will increase the GDP per capita, which will increase the competitiveness of a country.
