Analysis of Mexico In Terms Of Economic, Political, Ethical and Legal Environments In Terms Of Hotel Investment

Introduction

Mexico is a federal state in North America and happens to be borders US in the north and to the south, Guatemala and so is the west, whereas Gulf of Mexico is by the east of the country (Central Intelligence Agency 2010). The country covers an area of about 2000000 sq.KM and in the whole of America it is ranked 5th. In terms of size by independence, it is ranked 13th in the universe. According to the world statistics, the country has a population of about one hundred and thirteen million people with the majority of the population speaking the Spanish language. For the purpose of investing in the region it is also vital to note that the country has 31states with only one federal district which is the capital city.

Mexico Economy

Mexico consists of a free or open market economy. Mexican economy is quite large and it is ranked 13th worldwide, and also ranks high in the will of purchasing power. The economy generally consists of rapidly developing industries, service and the private sector. There has been improvement in the infrastructure, telecommunication and power generation. Though all these, the country has been faced with poverty. There is a lot of disparity that has been observed when poor and the rich are compared.

Mexico political - legal atmosphere

Mexico is a democratic state that is composed of several political parties with the PRI party being the party in power under President Pena Nieto and has a stable political base. It has a presidential system with a strong independent legislature and a strong judiciary and the executive wing of the government.
