AIM OF THE COURSE:
Accounting information is the lifeblood of business. Businesses, and the products and services they provide, are unquestionably a critically important part of our society. Accountants generate, evaluate, summarize, report, and confirm the information that managers and investors need to make good choices and the system that allows accountants to accomplish this is the accounting information system.
Therefore, this course exposes and explores the depth of accounting information systems using MYOB accounting software currently adopted in many business environment for recording, analysing and interpreting accounting data in the modern business environment. This course is specially designed for financial accounting data to be analysed and report to the users such as the management and the stakeholders. In doing so, particular emphasis will be placed on using practical examples, integrating and disseminating accounting modules to suit the needs of the business. This course will provide an initiative for mainstream practical accounting knowledge within the Region.
