INTRODUCTION

A kiosk is a small, separated garden pavilion open on some or all sides. It is also a booth with an open window on one side which can be found in parks, mall stations and sidewalks. Some vendors operate from kiosk, selling small, inexpensive consumables such as newspapers, magazines, lighters, street maps, cigarettes, and confections but now because of many people are busy and no time to prepare food but cannot afford to go to restaurants many company produce a kiosk type food business. In this type a business the target of the marketer is the people who pass by in malls or sidewalks that hungry but does prefer light meals.

“Pitacos”is a kiosk type food chain that offers taco and shawarma bites. We decided to make it bite size for the consumers to enjoy their food even if they’re walking inside malls or sidewalks. Finger foods fits all types of lifestyle, especially those with a busy schedule. Students or children alike can also bring it at school for lunch or merienda.

Taco is a traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded or rolled around a filling. A taco can be made with a variety of fillings, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and cheese. Allowing for great versatility and variety.

Shawarma is a Levantine Arab meat preparation, whre lamb, chicken, turkey, beef or mixed meats are placed on spit. And may be grilled for as long as day. Shawarma also refers to a sandwich or wrap made with shawarma meat.

Historical Background

Pitacos was started when me (Jhayvee) and Saija taking our dinner at Furukawa’s Residences me and saija wanted to put up a business and because I love eating shawarma and saija loves eating tacos, we decided to make it a business.
