Business Plan Proposal

My Business:

The business I would like to start is a live video/web based sports training business that focuses on improving player performance in their specific sports. At the same time not having to travel across the country or pay hundreds of dollars to be trained by someone in person. The whole video/web based idea would solve this problem. Athletes would just go to a local gym/court/field ect.. and receive their training through a video program (ie Skype).

Startup- I would like to start the business through an entrepreneurial team where my partner and I would plan the whole thing out.

Success- This will be a successful business because of how popular sports are in the world right now, and athletes are always looking to become the best they can be. Right now unless you live near a major city it is very hard to find a good trainer with out spending close to $1,000.

Window of opportunity- The window of opportunity for this business would be sometime in the next 5-10 years. With how fast technology is currently progressing it might not be too long before we see something like this. The main problem right now is when trying to use video chat over wireless internet the picture is not full HD. This is the biggest problem at the moment, but once that technology is available to me the business should be able to start up .

ME:

- Played three sports from when I was 8 until I was a senior in high school

- I received sports training for almost all of the sports I played and none of them would I consider “cheap”

- Opportunistic entrepreneur (scientific approach, willing to delegate, long planning) is what I see myself as. I say this because I am a big fan a science, if someone has more experience than me in a certain aspect of the business I would have no problem passing on the work to him or her in order to get it done properly. Also I believe planning is extremely important therefore I can see my self spending more time...
