I learned in this lab how to convert decimals to binary numbers and binary numbers to decimals. It relates to the course material as binary numbers are the way the computers understands information, and to troubleshoot a network problem one has to understand internal processes done by a computer. Ex. IP address is normally given in decimal format not binary, I should know how to convert to binary. This information will help me in my professional and academic by being a building block in the foundation of networking.

I learned in this lab how to convert decimal IP addresses to binary numbered IP addresses and binary numbered IP addresses to decimal IP addresses. It relates to the course material as binary numbers are the way the computers understands information, and to troubleshoot a network problem one has to understand internal processes done by a computer.
