Abstract

Data tables are used to arrange data in such a way to represent or communicate data analysis.   Data tables can vary in structure, flexibility, notation, representation, and use.  This brief will evaluate the design elements of data tables from an accounting perspective for Kudler Fine Foods management.  It will also provide relationship diagrams and recommendations for better management and understanding of the information contained in their data tables.

Data Table Analysis

Introduction

This paper will cover the examination of the inventory data tables of Kudler Fine Foods (KFF). An evaluation of the design elements of the inventory data tables from the accounting perspective will help KKF improve the data system they are currently using. We will recommend improvements to the data tables to ensure that the end users of the information could access the information when needed in an easy one-step request. Finally, we will explain how the information in a pivot table could improve decision making for the management of KFF.

Design elements of the data tables

The elements of the inventory data table for KFF include the GL Code, Inventory Item, Summary Line Item, and Amount. The data is arranged in an easy to read format.
