Team in the 21st Century Reflection Paper

Working in a team can be one of the most interesting experiences. For individual or team, it can be a pleasant or unpleasant experience. In anyway, working in a team can be a great learning experience for the individuals or team to develop and improve.

I have 20 years of experience working with teams on my job. I have the opportunity of working with teams outside of my job. I have had pleasant and unpleasant experiences.

The positive experience was working as President with the Church usher board. As a team we worked very well together and the communication among the team was great, and so was the respect that we had for each other. As the president, I was able to set goals for the team, and as a team we were able to reach those goals.

The bad experience is when a team member tells other members that you are not playing by the rules.

What I have learned from these experiences is that communication and respect is very important, in order for a team to perform and get the job done. If team members can understand clearly, their roles in the team, you can become more productive.

Teams are used in the workplace to get t he job done. Without teams, certain projects would not be completed without the help of good team players.

The most important fact in teamwork is foundation. Knowing which position each person is within a team can help coworkers provide the work in the areas they are strong in, that way assignments can be completed on time, and without problems.

Teams in the workplace must be able to communicate and have respect for each other, in order to be successful. Teamwork is essential in any circumstance, because life is all about decisions.
