Extreme Management Styles

​In many organizations, there are various personnel in management to include CEO’s, Directors, and Department Managers. Many of the ones in management have attended either a college or a university, and some even attended training seminars in order to learn what it means to be a manager at an organization. With the various training that the manager may receive, each manager would have their own styles in management. Some may use more of leadership skills than others, while some just maintain control in the organization without any leadership skills. Some managers use strong tactics to maintain control, while some manage take a more passive approach. In the article, “What Should You Say When an Employee Quits,” Michael Hopkins discusses the management techniques Michael Bloomberg uses in the organization that he owns, Bloomberg, Incorporated. In another article, “Extreme Managing,” Marc Ballon discusses the management techniques that Jack Hartnett uses in his organization, Sonic Drive-Ins. Bloomberg and Hartnett use different management styles in their organizations and were successful using them. When it comes to the management styles, using one management style may work for one organization, but now for another organization. The extreme management styles that are used by Michael Bloomberg and Jack Hartnett, help mold the organizations that they have created today.

When it comes to management styles, Michael Bloomberg uses an extreme approach when it comes to his employees.
