INTEGRATED ENROLLMENT SYSTEM (ACCOUNTING AND LIBRARY)

Introduction

This project looks at an Accounting Program for a college. It stores details of students, courses and their fees. The database is designed for use by staff and other authorized user in the college office to enable them to easily produce information such as balances, promissory notes, and unsettled miscellaneous fees.

The Library program was created to help the librarian to take records on the list of books within the library. It also registers those students who borrowed books and the dates it was supposed to be return.

Background of the study

The UNIVERSAL COLLEGE OF PARANAQUE INC. was built and established in 2005, by Mr. Domingo Tay, with his background in manufacturing sector and his sincere desire to contribute to nation building, Mr. Tay wanted to address the labor demand gap both for the local and global markets. Hence the first and flagship program became B.S Nursing which practically occupied half of the 5-storey edifice along Sucat Road in the bustling city of Paranaque.

The School has always forged close links with the government of Paranaque City. Following the City’s slogan “Give customers the best treatment they deserve,” Mr. Tay was inspired to adopt a school motto that was congruent to it, “A sound mind and a sound body”.

Importance

This study will help the Faculty and staffs of the Universal College of Paranaque make Accounting easy by the help of the Accounting system. This will make the collection of fees easy and fast. This will also allow the collector of the fees print receipt exclusively for student. And the student may also check their record anytime they want.

The Library system will store the data of the list of books that Universal College of Paranaque has. It will also save the books which are borrowed and the date it was supposed to be returned. The System will automatically inform you that a book is overdue and compute the payment the student...
