Adr Clause

Prepare an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) clause that can be used by a learning team to resolve disagreements among the learning team members. This ADR clause should be suitable for use by any learning team in any course of your program.

Include at least one type of ADR in the clause; however, more than one type may be included. The clause must provide all information necessary to define what disputes are subject to ADR and identify all provisions necessary to enable ADR to occur. The clause must also provide all the information needed for the ADR process to work effectively, leaving no question about the process unanswered.

The purpose of this policy is to provide team members with a fair and equitable dispute resolution procedure which is consistent with the Team Charter Values and to preserve the teams relationships with its each other. This policy is intended to encourage people to sit down, talk and listen to each other. The ultimate goal is to have everyone agree on a course of action that is fair and equitable to all parties.

Always seek closure before moving on and learn from our mistakes so we don’t repeat them. Be proactive, not reactive and act now. Don’t wait till a crisis to ask for help. Provide timely, responsible feedback that focuses on the issue, not on the person. Commitments count. Everyone is personally responsible to raise his/her hand when something is wrong. Keep a positive attitude and remember to have fun. There are no bad ideas, just ideas that don't fit right now. There is a difference between an honest mistake and a deliberate misdeed. We work as a team, share our knowledge, build on our current capabilities, and foster growth in our people. Open, clear, concise, honest communication across the board, especially regarding changes and information that impacts others. Personal integrity is expected at every level. Trust each other, assume right intentions and keep focused on the big picture.
