INTRODUCTION

BACKGROUND AND PROBLEM STATEMENT

Nowadays, technological innovations helped humankind improve standards of living. We are now crossing a so called modern world, but it is certain that computer application will bring changes in our lives. Or more so, this has become a part and parcel of procedures or techniques on gaining the right information at the right time. As humans, we are so much concerned with our survival for daily existence. Concentrating more on the social aspect of our lives, this is how to gain financial stability through technologies.

It was not so long ago when touch screen phones occupied our interest in different types of gadgets. Especially to those students who are fond of the latest trends of electronic gadgets. One example of these is the cell phones with android operating system. Once we hear the word android, the first thing that comes to our mind is a robot which is designed to resemble a human, but since we are surrounded by computers, people becomes more creative in such a way that they are able to make an operating system with the concept of an android.

Our study entitled “Basic Disease Diagnostic Software on Mobile Phone (Using Android)” is software that is capable of displaying the symptoms of a given ailment caused by bacteria. We choose this android operated system for our study because we believe that its capability fits our groups’ purpose.

At even increasing rate, the smartphones and other devices people carry with them in their everyday lives are packed with sensors and processing power. This provides an unprecedented opportunity to apply data mining techniques to people’s activities as they go about their daily lives, without changing their routine. The goal of our study is to give/add information regarding the different types of disease caused by bacteria. And because people are being influenced by the latest gadgets, we presume that our software will be more attractive if we will attach as an...
