Introduction

The Warrior Dash is “The world’s largest obstacle race series” – warriordash.com. It is an internationally run extreme obstacle course designed to test participants fitness, nerve and determination. Its goals and purpose are to promote fitness, competition, fun, companionship & balanced lifestyle through a series of physical tests and obstacles throughout a predetermined off-road race track. The event itself consists of a main staged obstacle course running in 30 minute delay “heats”, with stalls, market stands, live music, food, beverages & merchandising at the finish line. Heats begin early morning and run through to late afternoon with anywhere from 5,000-20,000 people in attendance in a given race.

Warrior Dash is a commercial enterprise and its themes of balance, fitness & community are well reflected within selection of current sponsors including Millers Lite, Monster Energy, Reebok, Anytime Fitness and St Jude Children’s hospital. This Sponsorship proposal will look to increase this image through the identification and selection of additional sponsors as well as the enhancement of the image of existing sponsors in the context of the Australian and New Zealand Market.
