The effects of Titan’s KM initiatives on the various parts of the business, and how the information and technology effects are related to each other

Knowledge management is no longer the brand-new and revolutionary idea that it was 20years ago, but it is still an extremely useful approach and on that emphasizes that information technology alone is not the solution to organizational problems but merely a set of tools that enables an organization to deal with its fundamental issues of purpose, resources, and outcomes. (TUI, Module 1 Case, 2013). We have been given the assignment to explain the various parts of the business, and how the information and technology effects are related to each other and will be explained on my point of view.

As we know that throughout out our lifetimes we are consistent at changes. This is a pretty well known saying which existed as long as I can remember with looking back about 30 years and more from today, with the development of computers and cell phones. The development of computers and cell phones are a result of endless search for improvements in technology innovations. It is an integration of economy, labor, and technology all over the world, even international.

Today the upsurge of developments in technology has an undeniable effect on how organizations function within and with other institutions for an organization, its success and failure greatly depends on how the organization was structured to work. Today’s latest technology makes life easier, it enables companies to reduce cost by using powerful equipment and machineries while consumers can have easier access to the newest products in the market.
