There are several methods organizations can utilize in order to convey messages to the
consumer. Two such methods include print advertisement and press releases. Print
advertisement has been around for many years and it is still an effective advertisement medium
used to persuade consumers. The 2nd method is often used in Public relations and in the form of
a Press Release, a statement to the media. The following paragraphs will compare and contract
press release and print advertisement while providing examples, intended effects, and target
audiences. In addition, we will define the rolls of public relations and advertising.
