You and several other managers feel that your company's system of perks needs improving, or employee retention might become a critical issue. One of the directors has asked you to put forward your ideas in writting. Write an informal proposal (200-250 words) for the director.

Situation:

It seems that free meals and symbolic money awards for the employee of the month are no longer sufficiant to keep employees working for us.

Children day care on site

Daily workouts: gym, fitness, swimming pool

Free snacks for employees

We have to transform the system of rewarding our employees, enable them to operate freely, to be treated with respect, and stimulate them to have a united common goal - to invent products and ideas that will change the world.

Steps involved:

Find a place that can be changed to children's day care center, for employees kids only: play room, some babysitter to watch for the children, meals for kids.

Make an arrangement with local gym or fitness and swimming pool, on a basis of mutual benefits: they get a free advertising space on some/all of our products in return for offering a free membership for our employees.

Some free snacks, fruits ,free coffe all day long, free tea or juice.

Benefits:

Coming to work, employees wouldn't worry about their children, that will increase their work potential and concentration on business tasks. Offering free snacks and fruits is simple and affordable, employees can take them to their workplace and eat them while working.
