Kudler Fine Foods Frequent Shopper Program
Kudler Fine Foods has a new incentive to develop a frequent shopper program. This program will provide customers high value incentives through a partnership with a loyalty points program. Kudler Fine Foods will accomplish this by tracking purchase behavior at the individual customer level.
Kudler Foods will use customers purchase behavior patterns to refine its processes and offerings to best satisfy their valued customers. The prices of items do not influence the consumers of Kudler Foods, the consumers are instead looking for high quality and specialized items. Most lower end food stores will provide simple in store discounts based on frequency of purchases. Kudler wants to provide a loyalty points program where consumers can redeem their accrued points for high-end gifts, airline upgrades, or other specialty foods. The goal of this program is to increase sales with frequent shoppers, and to improve their satisfaction with Kudler Fine Foods. Initiating the frequent shopper program by tracking purchasing behaviors comes with potentially legal, ethical, and informational security concerns relating to this system.
Legal Considerations of Frequent Shopper Program
Kudler Fine Foods will have legal concerns to see to when developing the Frequent Shopper Program. Protecting customer’s personal information will be a high priority when implementing this new program. The company must also inform the consumer of how the information will be collected, how it will be used, and who will be using it. Gathering of personal information needs to be done carefully and must adhere to government regulations regarding such.
