Legalizing Same-Sex Marriages

Abstract
Taking away the right to get married, start a family, or receive the same treatment and benefits that all other heterosexual couples receive with the stipulation of the person you are in love with cannot be the same sex as you are is ludicrous. The exposure of homosexuality in the United States can be viewed in a negative way in our society through television and in the media. This exposure has excelled at a rate that it is becoming the social norm. Love between two people whether it is the opposite or same sex should not be a legal obligation to find ways to discriminate against. As we development towards the greater acceptance of gay marriage, naturally the issue arises if whether to legalize same-sex marriage.
Legalizing Same-Sex Marriages
In the United States homosexuality is everywhere. In our society you can see it on television and in the media. At this rate it is becoming the social norm. Trending towards the greater acceptance of gay marriage, the issue will be if whether to legalize same-sex marriage naturally arises. Same-sex marriages in American should be carefully examined and Americans must be able to understand the importance of making same-sex marriage legal in the United States.
Gay rights to marry are a continuous battle in America’s culture. The cultural gap between heterosexuals and homosexuals has become a social nightmare. Gay activist have created a great impact to improve upon the judicial system and help homosexuals by taking steps towards accepting gay marriage through creating laws and amending the constitution. Even though very few states have bridged the cultural gap and allow homosexuals to marry, clearly the unjust social privilege in America’s judicial system is still there.
