Unemployment is on rise regardless of people going through school education. With reference to studying this course it is true that there are high chances of not being employed in the labor market. First, studying economics requires the learner to acquire good skills and knowledge which match with the demands and needs of the labor market. In such a case, unemployment will arise if the institution does not equip the learners with the skills and knowledge required in the labor market. If these learners finish their course and lack these skills then they automatically become unemployed regardless of their impressive college or university qualifications (Haugen and Susan 50).

In addition, economics is a science and an art which calls for students to be creative and innovative in order to prosper in the market. Economics students that need reduce complicated issues by formulating solutions to those problems. Many students do not think of coming up with jobs rather they are over dependent on the available jobs in the market(Haugen and Susan 50). This is to imply that many students do not internalize what they are taught rather they read to pass exams and secure a job just because they have A level education and have impressive grades. Lack of creativity and applicability of the knowledge taught in class renders many of the students jobless.
