Today, I watched a Korean drama. The drama showed some of the traditional Korean life. After finished watching a season of the drama, I had a little idea of how their life like. And I also did some research on their tradition culture. On the drama, I saw learned something different, such as on the drama, they show their traditional clothes, how their homes look like, and also their language.

First of all, Korean style dresses is now the most popular style in Asian countries. However, their traditional clothes came from old China, and they call it ‘hanbok’. For female, their wear a blouse shirt or jacket with a chima, which is a wrap around skirt that they usually worn full. Men’s hanbok is a robe with a baggy pants, and the robe usually extend to their knee, and they would tie the trouser legs on their ankle. Furthermore, hanbok’s design is very simple, but the colors are so beautiful, and for their hanbok, there is no pocket on either male or female hanboks. According to the research, before Korean affected by Chinese culture, they live in Altai Mountains area, and they farm for living. They like the pyramid style dresses which are wide on the bottom and narrow on the top. Furthermore, during the Three Kingdoms Dynasty, Korean dressing style influenced by Chinese culture, they had the base design for their clothes. And following the time goes on, Korean dressing style had big changed for three times. First time was Chinese Tang Dynasty, and then was their Goryeo Dynasty, the last time was Chinese Ming dynasty. Following the time moves on, and the technology gets better and better, Korean dressing style now become the most popular dressing style over whole Asian countries.
