1. Why have you chosen the elective classes included in your degree plan?

Before I started taking classes at Kaplan University, I attened Augusta State University. Most of my electives were already choosen for me. I plan on being Bilingal so two of my electives were Spanish 1 and Spansh 2. I also took Computer Concepts which gave me a great understanding on how to use Microsoft Office. It was required for us to take some type of physical course which I chose walking fitness, it was one of my easiest A’s. Electives that I plan to take are more in the Criminal Justice Field. One elective that I chose was Intro to Forensic Psychology because I am looking to to working in Forensic Scenice. I also choose Computers, Technology, And Criminal Justice Information Systems some that I can learn how to use the different systems.

2. What skills and knowledge do you expect to learn from these classes?

The classes that I have already taken gave me basic knowledge. College Composition I and College Composition 2 gave me the skills on writing a good paper. I learned how to write an essay; a great essay has a clear beginning, middle, and end. Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 gave me the knowledge on how to ask question and answer questions in a different language. I also learned how to translate sentences from english to spanish. I plan to gain the knowledge on how to examine the legal system. Also gain skills in roles of a psychology in the criminal justice field. I also plan on gaining skills in the change of technology upon criminal justice field.
