My future career goal is to become an Accountant. I choose this career when I was in the fifth grade. Math became my favorite subject as well. My great aunt graduated from Clayton State University. She was a Certified Public Accountant at CNN News, Downtown Atlanta. She has further her education at University of Georgia. Now, she teaches Business classes at Howard High School in Macon, Georgia. My aunt is my role model and I plan to follow her footsteps in life.

I would describe myself as social, neat, very organized, helpful, and a hard worker. My personality is social. Based on the Holland Personality & Career Types, social people are describes as kind, caring, and helpful. “They value helping and making a contribution. They are drawn to close interpersonal relationships.” (Gardner, Jewler, Barefoot 221)My personality matches conventional also. I’m very organized and neat. “They value order, structure and possess a high degree of self-control. For as education after highscool, it depends on the type of accounting you want to do. You can study two-five years. A bachelor’s degree in accounting prepares you for entry-level accounting jobs. If you want to be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), you need to complete an additional 30 hours of study in accounting. This will prepare you for the Uniform CPA Exam. Pay varies with the employer’s size, location, and type. For accountants, pay can vary by the time of year. In Georgia, an accounting median pay hourly is $36.02 and yearly is $64,520. The pay also depends on worker’s experience, education, and responsibility. There are four major fields in accounting; public, management, government, and internal auditing.
