Logos is one of the rhetoric appeals that define clarity of the claim, the logic of its reasons, and the effectiveness of its supporting evidence. This rhetoric appeal is used in both of the speeches equally. Elle Wood uses logos in order to express her experience at Harvard University by explaining her journey stating that “I have come to find that passion is a key ingredient to the study and practice of law and life” meaning that having passion as a key ingredient of life can build confident and strong self sense that as we take new steps into the world. She also states that in her speech that first impressions are not always correct. This statement describes a lot about her personality especially when you watch her speech video you see how lay back and more of doll type of girl she is but being in Harvard University for three years going through ups and downs and having faith in herself to achieve her goals. Then there is Jack who is also similar to Elle but in different. Jack also support his speech based on his life experiences which also involves around education. Jack has this aging disorder, one that makes him age 4 times faster than normal kids. When jack starts public school from there his physical appearance causes him lots of problems. Jack did not stop and kept on going to achieve his goals. In Jack speech he states “Make your life spectacular” meaning that don’t stress out too much live life to the fullest and keep on going with faith in yourself.

Both of the movies speeches had similar arrangements and style. The arrangements in both of the speeches were with simple. (“We did it!”/”I’m a grown up!”). The speeches were short but direct that kept the audience attention. Jack speech had more of emotions but Elle speech was full of excitement. Both of the speeches were heartfelt and ambitious.
