Education Experience

My educational experience

Without an education where would we be? I believe our educational experience starts from the day we go to school. As of myself, school is my first place where I put my skills and knowledge from where I began experiencing new things, and I thank my parents for their support they’ve given me. But there are many problems in our education system now a day, from poverty, racism, and bullying.

As of now I can’t complain about my education. I believe I have obtained a good educational experience through out my thirteen years of schooling, but I believe it could’ve been better. Having a disability of loose of hearing for about eight years has been a problem for me. I say this because I don’t capture things right away, it takes me a while to actually understand what is being said. It wasn’t till I started middle school that I decided not to wear my hearing aid for the reason I didn’t want my classmates to make fun of me.

From kinder to fourth grade I attended Salsipuedes which later became Alianza. For fifth grade I had to move schools because the school didn’t require bilingual classes. So for firth grade I attended Amesti. From kinder to fifth grade I believe I had what I call an awesome education. I say this because teachers were aware with what needed improvement to what was done well. As of elementary schools having conferences with parents is a good thing for not only teacher but parents to know what the student needs improvement and what can be done to be improved.

Middle school I attended Lakeview. Have to say middle school was also a good experience. From getting straight A’s, being in the honor roll all my three years and being involved in clubs, to having the opportunity to go to Washington DC. As of my loose of hearing, all my three years in middle school I had a class called ROP that helped me with any work I had difficulties.
