PDCA-101 COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALS Objectives: This course will enable the student to gain an understanding of the core concepts and technologies which constitute Information Technology. Expected Outcome: The intention is for the student to be able to articulate and demonstrate a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts of Information Technology. SECTION- A Computer Fundamentals: Block structure of a computer, characteristics of computers, problem solving with computers, generations of computers, and classification of computers on the basis of capacity, purpose, and generation. Number System: binary, decimal, hexadecimal, and octal systems, conversion from one system to the other, representation of characters, integers and fractions.
