Google is the most recognized internet search engine in the world. Google is known as a global technology think tank that is focused on improving the ways people connect with information not only with their ever expanding search engine but also with the innovative and creative technology they offer other than their search engine. While most of Google’s revenue is made through their online advertising Google has expanded its portfolio and is branching out. Google is going high tech and they have added several high tech new gadgets and services for their users. One of the most innovative and absolutely astonishing, in my opinion, is Google Glass that is being developed by the Google X Lab. Google Glass, is a sign of things to come. Google Glass is essentially a wearable computer but one very cool fact about this high tech gadget is the level of information and interaction that can be obtained from this device and the fact that Google Glass doesn’t have to be turned off only improves the consistency of this gadget. Google Glass are glasses that are “smart glasses”, similar to a “smart phone” that run on Google's own Android operating system.  Google Glass are glasses that I would wear on my head, just like traditional glasses, but let me tell you these glasses are far from traditional. These glasses provide just about all of the same services that you can get on a smart phone, like texting someone or reading emails, and most of the services you can get on your home computer, like Google Translate but instead of typing the words you want translated all Google Glass needs is your voice, in a normal conversational tone and it does the rest. Google Glass has built in data storage, full GPS capabilities, sensors, camera, mini projector, Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities and WiFi connectivity for making live video calls.
