This article is biased towards one direction. The statements and facts have no data to back it up. And no indication of how the data was created. They failed to describe the methods or the sample size they tested. Exposure to cannabis depends on individual intake. Different people will absorb it in various ways. Cannabis is not as addictive in the chemical sense, but in how an individual responds to it. Anything can be an addiction, basketball, soccer, eating, sleeping, etc. People have their own reactions to it, and not everyone is a frequent user. Cannabis is legally used to treat illnesses. In most states in the U.S., cannabis is medically legal. The illnesses that may be treated aren’t limited to cancer, but insomnia, anxiety, stress, physical injuries, and spine injuries. Many of these patients didn’t respond to the more dangerous and harmful alternatives the doctors prescribed. These patients are people in real pain that legitimately require its assistance. Cannabis is not as harmful as other drugs, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, and meth. Those drugs are illegal in the entire country, and possession laws against them are insanely harsh. Marijuana is also not as addictive as those other drugs. Those drugs have nasty side effects, such as deterioration of skin, loss of teeth, jaundice, lung damage, liver damage, among others. Users of those drugs experience a much harder time quitting. The withdrawal effects are severe, and can cause unimaginable pain. In conclusion, the writer of this article is biased. They clearly favor one side of the argument. They have no data to back up their claims. There is no explanation of how the data was collected, or the sample sizes or areas of the population were examined. If marijuana was more harmful than medically helpful it wouldn’t be legal in any way shape or form. The basis of this article is narrow-minded and biased. Cannabis is medically helpful, and should be continued to be allowed to be used for medical purposes. Abusers...
