Think Finance is a pioneering internet-based lending organization with three very different entities and products. The company offers three lending styles of emergency monetary relief in the forms of payday loans, personal unsecured installment loans, and lines of credit. Think Finance takes much pride in the initiative taken in order to become a leader in the online lending industry while not only succeeding but also staying in front of the competitors the entire way. The following paragraphs offer information on structure and power relationships impacting company decision making, the physical, behavioral, and verbal manifestation symbols used in the fostering of the Think Finance culture, and the variety of means that Think Finance uses to collect, manage, and use information. In essence, the following passages will guide the reader through a series of examples associated with a practical approach to assessing some of the values of a company preparing to make an initial public offering (IPO). Therefore, defining Think Finance’s organizational life and the decisions made therein has never been more important.

Structure and Power Influence Decision Making

Structure and power both influence Think Finance in a way that promotes decision making. Standard Operating Procedures are the tools used to deal with the many situations the various departments must face throughout the duration of the normal business day. Think Finance’s SOPs are created as a result of corroboration among all five power types present within the structure of the company.
