We are going to divide the whole training section into 3 stages. And the first stage is before the skill development.

Before skill training development stage 1

According to adult learning theory, trainees need to know why they should learn the skills. Therefore, we will start our training session by asking few questions to gain participants awareness of the needs in attending our training course. Then, according to goal setting theory, specific and challenging objectives result in better performance than vague, unchallenging one. So we will told the trainees the clear objective and expected leaning outcome that is smoothly finished 5 sets of movement with rhythm before the skill development starts. Moreover, we will have a lecture aids with PowerPoint to demonstrate the key behavior to trainees, which helps them to reduce unknowns about the training context and thus increase their self-efficacy. Also, we will provide advance organizers- a clear lesson plan, graphs and some diagrams to help trainees organize the information that will be presented and practiced later during the training. After that, we will play some creative games which related to our training content with trainees at this stage. One reason for doing so is to increase trainees’ involvement, and the other is because our target trainees are belongs to Millennium or Nexters, they prefer entertaining training activities, so we want to use the creative games to make our training interactive and fun. Last but not least, trainee’s readiness is really important to the success of a training course; therefore we will try to link up what we are going to train in the course with their pass experiences (movement they have accomplished in PE lesson). We use logical verification, that is to help the trainees to perceiving a relationship between the new task and a task they already mastered, therefore increase their self-efficacy and makes them to believe they can accomplished the goals.
