ABSTRACT

In the “2011 Theme Index: The Global Attractions Attendance Report”. Published by Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), Disneyland Paris ranked No.5 in the world; Hong Kong Disneyland ranked No.15 while Ocean Park, Hong Kong ranked No.11. In order to help raise the ranking of the Ocean Park Hong Kong, some analysis was made from different aspects of the design of the park. Considering all the factors effect on the ranking including products, service and technology design, I think the improvement can be carried out from the following aspects. Firstly, a method to avoid too many queues is necessary. The service of restaurants in the park should also be improved to decrease the complaints from visitors and more rest areas are needed to help people enjoy more especially when they face a sudden changed whether.
