McGill University

* a minimum six (6) semester hours of introductory coursework, with labs; | * a minimum six (6) semester hours of general (or physical) chemistry coursework, with labs, * a minimum three (3) semester hours of organic chemistry coursework, with labs; | * a minimum six (6) semester hours of introductory coursework, with labs; |

Though not required, university-level courses in biochemistry, cell and/or molecular biology and statistics are recommended.

University of Toronto

* at least 3 years of study towards a Canadian university bachelor's degree in any discipline (equivalent of 15 credits)

* minimum GPA of 3.6 / 4.0 on the OMSAS scale

* minimum MCAT scores of 9 in each section and N on the Writing Sample

* two full-course equivalents (FCE) in any life science

* one FCE in any of social sciences, humanities, or a language

The intent of this non-academic review is to provide an understanding of the accomplishments and traits of candidates not reflected in their academic review.
