List the advantages of a single customer service center for RR Communications.

1. Customer satisfaction. I believe the merge will address some of the current complaints from customers. If a company doesn’t keeps is customers happy, they will lose business and then be out of business.

2. Easier reporting. Every company runs reports, be it daily, weekly, monthly or annually. Once the data is merged it will be easier for the company to collect overall data to show how the business is doing as a whole.

3. Easy access to data. When managers are reviewing data to look for new opportunities they only have to look in one system, instead of bouncing around in different systems. This saves time, and time is money.

4. Each department will be able to see the data of other departments. This will allow people to think out side of their department box and come up with new ideas that will benefit the company.

5. When it comes to security, only one system needs to be monitored.

6. Increase in revenue.

7. Workflow will be more efficient.

8. One company vision, instead of departmental visions.

9. The company will be able to reach its goals in a shorter timeframe.

10. Overall success.

All these things will make the company more efficient and save them money, which is a goal of all companies. If the managers of all the departments look at some of the advantages and look at the company as a whole and not just there department, there will be no problem with them agreeing to the merge of customer service centers and data.

Devise an implementation strategy that would guarantee the support of the divisional presidents for the shared customer service center.
