Answer:

Airworthiness Directive that would require repetitive inspections for inspection of cracking in the lower corners of the forward entry doorway on certain models of Boeing aircraft, 737–200, –200C, –300, –400, and –500 series airplanes. This repeated inspections wil detect cracking which would lead to “crack progression and consequent rapid decompression of the airplane”. (Duven, 2013)

Answer:

Since our airline operates Boeing 737-200, 400 and 500 model aircraft. I am in favor of the proposed repetitive inspections for cracking in the forward door entry in our fleet of B-737 aircraft. We believe that inspections will help the airline identify progressive cracking caused by rapid decompression. The safety of our aircraft and ultimately our passengers is of utmost important.
