Description:
This is an images of a Mother handing some Sampaguita flowers to her daughter for her to sell it. Her daughter should be at school, but it seems like she’s can’t support her siblings that’s why she was letting her kids on the streets selling Sampaguita flowers to some people passing by than to send them at school and enjoy their childhood.
These photo shows “Child Labour” refers to the employment of children in any work that deprives children of their childhood, interferes with their ability to attend regular school, and that is mentally, physically, socially or morally dangerous and harmful. This practice is considered exploitative by many international organisations. Legislations across the world prohibit child labour. These laws do not consider all work by children as child labour; exceptions include work by child artists, supervised training, certain categories of work such as those by Amish children, and others.
If a person has an open-mind and saw a photograph like this, they will surely think that this kid on this photo and the kid behind them should be writing, reading, studying and learning inside a four cornered walls of a classroom with their friends and not like what they appear in this photo. They should not be selling these flowers with their mother. They were way too young to work for themselves. They should be supported enough to satisfy their needs as a child, not a child to work for...
