According to Rob Tannenbaum Cleveland has the worst sports franchises of all times, and I don’t agree. How does one come up with such a statements? In the article The 20 Worst Sports Franchises of All Time the author just put the city down because LeBron James chose to leave, that was his decision not the city of Cleveland.

During the 2013 NBA season more than eight other teams had worse attendance. Including the Indiana Pacers that even made it to the playoffs they had an average attendance of only 15,269 and the Cleveland Cavaliers had 16,192. The Sacramento Kings had an average attendance of 13,749, which are over 2,000 people less than that in attendance of the Cavs. To me a sports franchise is a business and with less fans in the stands the less money that can be made. If the Cavs hand 2000 more fans in attendance the ability to make more money does not make the worst franchise.

The Cleveland Indians started the home sellout streak. This is something that had never been done in the sport of baseball, and how old is the sport of baseball.
