Since its creation in 1767, soda has become as about as popular as American football. This beverage can be found everywhere in anywhere, from restaurants to gas stations. It can be found at movie theaters or enjoyed in the comforts of your home while watching TV. It is literally everywhere. Not only can it be found everywhere, but there are tons of different brands that offer tons of different flavors of soda to appease almost everyone. One of the most popular companies that makes soda is PepsiCo. This company produces one of the most popular sodas out there today, Pepsi. the exciting history of Pepsi, the heath facts, and how it manufactured.

A) First we begin with the early history of Pepsi.

1) Created by Caleb Davis Bradham in 1893.

2) In 1898 the drink was renamed

3) In 1902 the Pepsi-Cola Company was launched.

4) In 1903 “Pepsi-Cola” was officially registered with the U.S. patent office.

5) 1905 the first bottling plants were open.

6) 1906 the logo changes, the slogan changes and the company continues to expand

7) 1923 Bradham loses his company

B) Next we move onto to history after 1920 when Bradham lost the company.

8) Company sold to Craven Holdings Corporation.

9) 1931 the company is once again declared bankrupt. Charles C. Guth purchases the company

* Guth was the president of Loft Incorporated.

10) 1938 the company gets a new president Walter S. Mack.

* WW2 affects sugar again. Mack responds by buying a sugar plant in Cuba

11) Company continues to expand

C) Lastly in the present day, Pepsi in no longer a company that sells just soft drinks.

12) Researchers develops new products

13) Consumers begin demanding noncarbonated drink, Pepsi responds

14) Pepsi has merged with many other companies and is now the fourth largest food and beverage company in the world
