Ethics Awareness Inventory Analysis

I was taught at a very young age that people need to be treated the way you would want to be treated. That is what I try to do, but I am also smart about it because I know there are going to be people who will not like me or will try to take me for granted. I have learned that the world is not made up of sunshine and rainbows. People are out to get what they want when they want it, and willing to do whatever it takes to get it. I have learned through my journey of going to school that I can either be better than they are and work harder and keep my ethics in tact, or I can bow down to their level and fight dirty. I have never been that type of person so it might take me a while to get to my goals in life , but I will get there eventually and when I do I will be able to look at myself in the mirror knowing that I did it the right way.

The way that my educational experience has affected my ethical thinking is that I have had to work very hard to get to the place where I am at today in my education.

I came from a background where you were lucky if you finished high school, let alone go to college. Right after high school I had to work to be able to support myself. I went to school a few years ago because I wanted to do better than what was given to me. I look back at these few years and I think about how hard I have studied and how far I have come from the person that first started this journey.

There have been many times where people were telling me to do things that were against my ethical way of thinking. I didn’t fall victim to their way of thinking because I didn’t want to worry about knowing that I was doing something that was against my beliefs.

The way I would describe myself in my work environment is that I am a flexible person, meaning if I am needed...
