Applying Everyday Life

Most adults are healthy individuals, but the life style in which people are living can cause stressful concerns for an unhealthy life. Often time’s young adults do not take the proper steps to prevent major health problems. Adults are facing the challenges of increasing accidents and homicide, unemployment, increasing health issues such as; obesity and hypertension. These issues can lead to physical and emotional damage .These changes are a part of early adult-hood, middle adult-hood and late adult-hoods growth and development, understanding and cope with life. There are many health-care concerns in each adult-hood such as; experiencing violent events, poor eating habits, and physical changes that can lead to a negatively impact in a person’s life.

The most common violent experience for early adult is accidents. For some young adults, accidents are the number one health concern in this country and even the world. Roadside traffic accidents are the leading cause of death among young adults. Most often the drivers and passengers were not wearing seat belts. The other percent of young adults who died in accidents had a large number of passengers in the vehicle, were drinking and driving, texting and/or using the phone while driving. There are several ways to prevent these accidents from occurring. Education is the key to teaching the young adult to limit the passengers in the vehicle, this allows for less distraction. For many teen drivers, do not allow the teen to drive late at night, or drive when tired or fatigue. All drivers should not drink alcohol or use other drugs then drive. Parents should limit the use of texting and phone conversation on the cell phone with the parent control devices. All students should be required to take drivers education at least two years before allowing getting a permit for license. Other prevention would be to formulate and enforce laws for specific minimum age for driving.
