The Sandy Beach

An endless beach with white speckled sand. The aquamarine seawater reflects the golden radiance of the sun making your eyes squint .The smell of the briny sea spray and the crispy sand. You can hear the seagulls cawing in the distance probing for their next ocean meal. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. The clouds are full but non-threatening as you hear the chattering and muttering of the beach occupants. Girls putting on sun tan lotions with bare sun kissed skin under the rainbow coloured beach umbrellas. The guys are surfing the graceful yet powerful waves. The sand gently sweeps over your toes, the August sun makes it scorching hot, almost unbearable yet it is sort of a comforting sensation. The warm scent of food from the vendors fills your lungs, making you crave it all.

The Gypsy

She is a mysterious woman and a very colourful one too. Her clothes are made from long chunis, long woven scarves, which she uses to cover up her head and shoulders down to her ankles. Covering long dark silky hair with bright coloured beads and her traditional coins attached to her shawls. She is bohemian, exotic in nature and does not flow with the changes of the world. You can see her hands are stained with henna. Her hands filled with golden rings and gemmed trinkets of every shape, colour and form. She would have thick chunky anklets, they look so heavy yet she walks with such poise as if dancing to a slow calm song. She is misjudged, because of all the stereotypical truths societies believe yet she still respects everyone and lets everything pass by.
