3. (b) Does the profession serve the same social need today? Explain in detail.

Today in the 21st Century, Human Resource Management is not only about managers telling the employees what to do and how to do things. Teamwork has been introduce in every workplace, and everyone can make an appeal in term of decision making, they can share their decision and other managerial task. Human Resource Management is today running as a profit making sector and not the traditional organizational cost centre, the deal is to improve the organizational revenues and profits. The HRM sector is working on the ways they can enhance productivity of the employees, so that they can generate more output, thus it does not serve the same social need but is still a crucial asset to a company.

4. Krause says that the development of a profession depends on the interrelationship between the profession, the state and capitalism. How this profession is dependent on capitalism?

Human Resource Management involves decision taking in which a board is committed to the good functioning, and everyone has to follow a set of rules and to be managed in a way is a common requirement. The Human Resource Management team holds the power and failure to make a mutual relationship so that both the employee and the management level agree on a set of rules.

4. (a) What does it contribute to capitalism?

It puts emphasis on emphasis on equality, democracy, encourage and help the individual to perform at their best. The management will ensure that picking up an employee for a specific task will be undertaken fairly and that the job will be allocated to the best performer, and gender, religion, family background and other similar aspects will not be considered. Bottom line, the individual will be assessed on his personal traits, abilities and qualifications. This somehow contributes to the wellbeing of the person, democracy.
