Introduction

Have you all of you ever grumbling that not enough money. Nowadays, money has become a very important commodity in our lives. We cannot imagine our life without money. Without money, we would not be able to live comfortably, have food on plates, clothes on our back or even get an education.

Today I would like to talk about how to spend money wisely.

1. Plan the purchases

A. Make a list before going shopping

i. Human will exist the temptation to purchase extras while shopping

ii. Before shopping, you can list down the necessary items that want to buy so you can differentiate between needs and wants.

B. Make a mini-budget every month

i. We can make a budget list of our monthly expenses to determine where we can reduce expenses and where our money goes.

ii. At the beginning of the month, we must make a budget that what we can afford.

2. Do survey the price

A. Compare prices before buying anything

i. This is the way to get cheaper price more along with the acceptable quality.

ii. We can compare the prices from different shops and buy at the shop that offers the lowest price.

B. Buying during sales

i. If an item has been in the store for a month or more, the retailers will start to sell at the lower price so customers can buy during sales.

ii. When there is a discount for a sale item, we can buy more to save more money which the sale item can be used later.

iii. Coupons are useful when we save money on what we already planning to buy.

3. Set the financial goal

i. Most of us love to hang out with friends especially during weekends. In this case, we will dining out in the restaurants or fast food outlets. But we do not know its effects.
