1.0IntroductionPanasonic is a Japanese multinational consumer electronics corporation and also one of the largest and leading electronic product manufacturers in the world and a well-known brand name. Its slogan "Panasonic ideas for life" represents the advanced technology and the wide range of products which we cover. It’s formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd and stands for the depth and diversity of its research capabilities, manufacturing expertise, high quality and sophisticated products. Panasonic was ranked of 89 the largest company of world by Forbes Global in 2009 and among worldwide top 20 electronics sales leader. As of 31 March 2012 Panasonic employed around 330,000 staff and had around 580 subsidiary companies.[27] Panasonic had total revenues of ¥7,846,216 million in 2012, of which 53% were generated in Japan, 25% in Asia ex.
