1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
CPS is a private multi-campus school that was established in 1975 and has an annual enrolment of 4500 students, 30% of which are international students. The school has been able to provide enviable and qualitative education to its students at an affordable price. However, todays learning environment is dependent on a new and improved information systems, but CPS had been using the old information systems. The teaching resources they use are outdated, and this affects their ability to teach their students to achieve academic excellence. The absence of a website, using old means of advertising; lack of information systems, inefficient use of computers, communication difficulties with people and other campuses, affects the schools reputation negatively.
For CPS to regain its excellent reputation for providing academic excellence, it must provide computer systems to its campuses, which includes both the hardware and software (operating systems).
