In order to expose to the uses of information and communication technologies by real people working in different organizations, and to improve course offering by universities to better prepare current and future workers, I have conducted a research interview following on information and communication technologies. The five people I interviewed are contact administer, accountant, cashier, researcher and designer. These five people work in five different organizations and operate in different sectors of economy. Their organization sells different products or services.

I am an international student in accounting major. After this interview, I learnt a lot from them. I learnt that it is really important to have knowledge about new technologies for every organization or for the people who work in high technology organization. Life is changing every day, the new technology is developing faster and faster, hence there are many stuff are worth us people to watch and learn.

Xing Zhao, as a contact administer at a big company in China, his main job is processing the contract of the company. Every day he needs to negotiate with both customers and suppliers so that he can create the details for contracts. He is in charge of communicating with customers and suppliers to make sure all the products can deliver on time after the contract was signed. Linda Lindsey’s job is different with Xing; she is an accountant in Los Angeles. Her organization helps customers to make balance sheet, calculate net income and do tax and auditing jobs. She is responsible for the confirmation, measurement, record and report of the transaction. She needs to collect the formation from the original vouchers posted from suppliers and customers and keep all the information updated in the accounting system on time. Alisha works as a cashier in the dining center of UC where it offers food to students and faculties in the TAMUCC. Her main job is cash handling. Lei Zhang...
