A Dream to Be a Millionaire

Many people are attracted fascinatedly by lottery, because it gives people a hope to be a millionaire overnight. I am no exception. If I won the lottery jackpot, my later life would be changed forever. Here is how I imagine changing my life if my dream came true.

I am a new immigrant. To a settler, housing is a first problem. It is well known that the housing in the United States is very expensive, especially in some ideal and peaceful place. People, like the new immigrant, who don’t have a good job can hardly afford to buy a house. Even if when they could do it finally, their lifetime would be almost used up. If I won the lottery jackpot, the first thing I would do is buying a big house near a beach in Florida. The house doesn’t need to be like a palace, but it has to be very distinguished. The oriental tapestry hanged on the wall, the delicate furniture, and the beautiful scene from the out of the window. My family and I would move into this kind of houses delightedly. We would have a wonderful time to see the sunrise or sunset together.

If my parents wanted to meet their friend often, we could live in New York. There would be our second house in New Jersey. If I won the lottery Jackpot, the costly property tax in New Jersey was a piece of cake to us. I would still study in the college, but I would move to NYU. In order to improve my English shortly, I would hire an English teacher speak English to me every minute. I think this face to face teaching would help me speak out. For sometimes, I feel I am a little shy in the class. If somebody could correct my speaking in time, that would be efficient for me.

Apart from the housing and studying problem, I also like travel. When I see some pictures of beautiful scene in the book, it always arouses my longing to go there. If I won the lottery Jackpot, I would take trips with my family during the vocation. We would go to Paris to see the Eiffel tower, or to Roma to visit the roman architecture, or to Australia to...
