Production Plan

The following charts show the production plan for our company. This includes the total output scheduled based on the lines and hours. It also includes the beginning and ending inventories in each area based on the sales forecast.

Production Schedule Analysis:

This chart represents the amount of lines and hours our company will use over the next two years. You’ll notice that the overseas plant is not included as well as the consolidated totals. This is due to the fact that we only used one plant to produce goods. However, our company will need to upgrade our plant in order to add two extra lines because our forecasted sales indicate an increase which requires more lines so we do not run our of inventory. This process will take place in Year 5 Quarter 4 as our sales take an increase to 567. There is also plenty of overtime shown in these next two years to ensure we do not run out of inventory.
